Got to the bridge at about 12:30 and had lunch in the shade of concrete, leaning against it because it was the only cool thing for miles around, the only thing I can say is the day is sizzling hot.
I think I will lay out until 2:30 or 3 and let it cool off a little. I only have about 7.5 miles left having done 9 in the heat already maybe I'll take a nap even
Well I only sat under the bridge till 1:30 then hiked on, once I climbed over the ridge onto the side with the lake the breeze was a little better.
For a 15 mile day it was one of the hardest. It quite amazing how the heat just saps your strength.
But tomorrow it's bath day with motel room. Yeah
