I heard from Troy early this morning and he agreed to come a pick me up for a shuttle to my car in Roanoke. It was another rainy day with a day or too more of rain predicted. How fortunate for me that its time for a break. A wonderful coincidence. My brother said he would place my car in Roanoke for an easy pickup.

The Appalachian Trail (A.T.) is more than 2,175-mile long footpath stretching through 14 eastern states from Maine to Georgia. Conceived in 1921 and first completed in 1937, it traverses the wild, scenic, wooded, pastoral, and culturally significant lands of the Appalachian Mountains.
