Happy Birthday to Me

Went online to look at bank info and lo and behold my state income tax refund came in on Friday - That's 8 days after e-filing it and 12 days before my tax lady said to expect it. With that in mind, I made my Greyhound reservations today and cancelled a sub job for Monday 4/30, as I'll still be somewhere in California. I did reply to Carl's email about not bringing a car, and assume I'll be reassigned a tent only spot. Doesn't matter to me. Just be really nice to see old friends and make new ones. I was bummed because it looked like I would not be going to the KO.

So now, I need to find someone to house sit and then figure out what to do with my car as I leave and arrive at night and the neighborhood is iffy on leaving your car there for more than overnight.

Yesterday was my birthday and I went on a birthday ride, meeting the club at a town nearby. It was pie time, and I treated myself to fresh strawberry. YUM!
