Pacific Crest Trail Map

Well here we are with less than a week to go before starting, and I haven't done nearly enough to prepare. However, I am not discouraged by this in the least, my motto, "Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead." I will press forward regardless of what the trail throws at me. My gear list has been steadily changing with more experience, getting the feel for just exactly what I will need. My uncle Ron has sent me more stuff than i can possibly carry, but I will be carrying a good deal of it. I've inventoried my pack and have so far decided to include:"gear items(thanks to)" Gregory Palisade 80 backpack, Olympus digital camera(Brenna), kelty Gunnison tent(mom), Alps mountaineering 0 celsius bag, REI nonstick cookset(me),MSR whisperlite stove(Virginia), MSR water filter(Ken), Leatherman multi-tool, rain jacket, leather gloves, cool weather gear, ankle brace, socks, sunglasses(Uncle Ron), Princeton tec QUAD headlamp(Dave and Mimi),Fishing gear, slingshot and ammo(Jerome and Randy), journal(Joann) and finally a Thermarest sleeping pad (Lloyd and Sarah Rogers). I think that's about it, although there are many other people who have contributed their time and resources to helping me be able to take this trip and I thank you all very much. See ya on the flip side.
