My uncle called me yesterday to make sure I was ok, which reminded me that I hadn't posted anything about my finish. For some reason I haven't been able to muster the motivation to update the journal; I don't know why. Last night I slept outside under the stars and trees beside my sister's house; I almost felt at home again.

I finished the remaining 107 miles at Timberline Lodge on September 31 at 10pm. After starting from Big Lake Youth Camp, I just wanted to get done and made it to Timberline in three days. The last day was a 44.5 mile day. There weren't any other thru hikers out and I only saw 4 or 5 people. That last mile walking into Timberline was incredible. Not only was I walking mile 2654, but the stars were literally breathtaking. I turned off my headlamp a few times and tried to soak in the glory of the heavens.
