That's true. One fine day. Lots of new hikers. Four hikers left the Saufleys early this morning. I gave them rides to the highway to save a short road walk. And then Donna left for a family day.

More hikers. Twelve showed up in the afternoon. The joy level increased almost hourly. One of my favorite online hiker personalities - Diane from Santa Barbara - and her husband, Trail Hacker, brought juice and snacks. An event. A bunch of us then ended up at the Mexican food place in town. More fun. This is what I wanted. I have already done ten loads of laundry!
