I will be doing a little jumping around this year, in the time I have. I won't be doing the High Sierras so I won't have to deal with the
bear canister, or worry about snow. So I will leave from KO north to Tehachapi, catch Amtrak to Redding, pick up the trail at Burney Falls, hike south to Donner Pass, catch Amtrak back to Redding, back to Burney Falls and hike north to Trout Lake where I will hitch to Bingen/White Salmon and catch Amtrak home.
