Well, it feels like I've already been on a journey of sorts...but the journey itself hasn't even begun. The last year has brought many ups and downs. From a poorly times broken leg to a freak car accident to a mysteriously stolen pack and a not so mysteriously stolen cell phone...It's been quite a year to say the least. But I'll leave that all behind me in a few days when I fly to Europe for three weeks with my sweety. What a way to celebrate the one year anniversary of my broken leg! Then I'm off on my PCT through hike. I can't wait for all of the adventures to begin. At the same time though, I'm sad to be leaving Bailey-Boushay House where I've worked for the past 4 1/2 years. (If you are reading this, and you used to work with me, just know that I love you and I appreciate everything). Man, it's hard to leave that place! It will be even more tough to leave Meg. (Sweetheart - I'm not sure if you will ever fully know the depth of my appreciation for you and your ability to support and care for me while I do this. I love you). But if I don't follow my dreams, then I'll never know my true potential. A guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do I guess. Here's to putting one foot in front of the other and making something of this brief existence!
