rainforest means puddles

gorgeous sunrise to end out boat ride. we walked to the bus station and got on a small local bus that took us to lenca where we walked to parque nacional alerce andino. this was a rain forest filled with plant of every size and shape....slippery and muddy underfoot. camping was not permitted, but we found a great place next to a river just outside the park. even found a candle there...so nice for a change!
