Well I finally made it to VA! After 77 miles in South Carolina and 467 miles in GA, TN, NC. All since March 4th. I left Springer March 10.
I debated on sleeping out another night. I have a ton of freeze dried food. but the lure if town food drove me 28 miles today. The statistics in the side bar show a fair amount of elevation change.
I checked in at Mount Rogers Outfitter then are a big sub at the Blue Blaze cafe. I was surprised to see Miss Janet there having a pizza with some German hikers that she was shuttling. On the easy to laundry I stood in the church Hostel and said hello to Bayou three caretaker there.
